Haha late review from me for this album :)
Vices and Virtues, the third album from pop-punk America band Panic! At The Disco (PATD) was officially released on March 22, 2011. Album ini menjadi album pertama setelah ditinggalkan dua personel mereka Ryan Ross (Aaaaaaaaak! I still regret why he came out. He's really cute, rite?) dan John Walker yang menyisakan Brendon Urie (He's a really cool vocalist!) dan Spencer Smith sang penggebuh drum. Their music sounded a little different. Sedikit berbeda dari album Pretty Odd tapi hampir mirip sama album pertama A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. Yeah, si Brendon dominan banget kayanya. The group's old lyricist, Ryan Ross, is gone; these songs are missing some of the hyper mall-rat poetry that made Panic's first two albums such daffy fun. But the arrangements are tight, even when the songs get baroque.
Ada 10 track di album Vices and Virtues ini. Overall, musiknya masih "Panic banget". Kesan teatrikalnya masih kental, gloomy nya juga masih dapet, plus masih bisa buat sing a long rame rame. Musiknya juga beragam. Ada yang buat jingkrak-jingkrak (bisa nambah semangat juga kalo didenger pagi-pagi) tapi ada juga yang bikin galau (apalagi kalo didenger antara waktu midnite sampe subuh-Waktu Indonesia Bagian Galau ;b). Ini lagu favorit saya di album ini. Bisa banget jadi moodbooster. Musiknya rancak, bikin semangat pokoknya. Video klipnya juga udah dirilis and bisa dicek disini. Dancenya Brendon tu lhooooo bikin ngakak, lucuuu but he's really cool (teteup hihi) gemeeeesh!

Saya suka banget sama musiknya! Lagu ini kalo menurut saya mirip sama lagu We're So Starving di album Pretty Odd. Kalo We're So Starving kan ngegambarin kerinduan mereka nyapa fans lewat album baru, nah kalo Hurricane ini ngegambarin perasaan si Brendon (or maybe PATD) pasca ditinggal Ryan Ross dan John Walker. Kalo kata temen saya si @dewahotaru ini lagu PATD yang paling galau sepanjang masa. Nggerus sih denger liriknya. Dibuat secara akustik, bisa banget bikin kita mikir panjang. Bikin galau!

Masih ada tiga track lain di album ini: Let's Kill Tonight, Sarah Smiles, Trade Mistakes. Tapi tujuh lagu di atas jadi lagu favorit saya di album ini. Hampir semuanya yak? Haha. Emang keren siiiiiih ya lagu-lagunya. Very recomended album from me :)
